Our reduction units are a bolt-on unit
and can be put on just about any VW engine case. If you're comfortable working with
engines you can build up your own engine, just mount our reduction and you're ready to
go. We heartily recommend the Great Plains Aircraft Supply VW-based engines as an excellent buy for
someone wanting to build their own engine.
But, for those of you out there not as comfortable working around or in
engines, or, if you just want to "hit the ground running," we would like you to
consider one of our firewall-forward engine packages. |

We will provide you a custom-designed engine/PSRU/Propeller package made
especially for your aircraft. You will receive a tested, broken-in engine.
If you can arrange it, you're welcome to visit beautiful Rolla, Missouri and
see your engine run on our test stand. Then, we'll unbolt the engine, load it in
your car/van/truck and you'll be on your way with a complete firewall-forward engine
installation ready to mount on your aircraft.

Please note: Because
of the custom care and attention to detail we give to each and every engine package we
make and our efforts to make sure they conform exactly to what the customer wants, we can
only produce one firewall-forward engine package a month.
With a Valley Engineering firewall-forward engine/PSRU/Prop package. You can get this kind
of take-off performance. We'll build you an engine package custom-designed for your plane.
Then, we break it in flying it in our break-in aircraft. After we are satisfied with the
engine package, you can come down and take a ride in the test aircraft before heading
home. After the flight, we'll take the engine off the aircraft. Thirty minutes later,
you'll be on the road with your complete firewall-forward engine package ready to mount to
your plane.
